The Autumn in Austerlitz Festival was held on the Sunday before Columbus Day, October 12th, 2014 from 11am – 4pm. Rain or Shine. Admission was $6 for adults and children under 12 were free. With attendance averaging at over 750, the event featured volunteers dressed in early 1830’s costumes, antiques, live music and entertainment for children, many different vendors and a variety of hot and cold foods to satisfy your hunger.
Ampersand was our featured musical performance at Autumn in Austerlitz. Their website, Ampersand.org describes themselves as “A family-friendly, upbeat musical group that soars with tight vocal harmonies, backed by the driving, chunky sound of traditional instruments.”

Autumn in Austerlitz began in 1997 as a home grown festival to raise money for the Austerlitz Historical Society and the society’s ambitious project: to create a living history museum in the town of Austerlitz which would depict life in the 1830s, and a center for historical investigation for Austerlitz Town History.
